KISS DIP NAIL SYSTEM 2 WEEK REVIEW

I decided to try the Kiss Dip Nail System about a month ago because I had been wanting to try dip nails but didn’t want to pay for a salon visit. It is supposed to be the same thing but you just do it yourself at home for $20! You can’t beat that! I have a video trying out the whole system on my YouTube channel if you want to see the whole process.

It’s been over two weeks since I tried out the Kiss Dip Nail System in a YouTube video. I have learned a lot about the system and have used it three times in total. Now I know what to do and what not to do to make the nails last as long as possible.

FIRST APPLICATION

After I made the YouTube video using the Kiss Dip Nails System, I noticed the nails chipped in the corners fairly quickly. It was probably three or four days after application. I was obviously very disappointed because I was expecting them to last for at least two weeks. I didn’t know if I did something wrong or if the system just wasn’t that good. I decided after one week of wear to redo the application and try to change some things to see if it helped the nails last longer.

WHAT I CHANGED

Like I said, I wanted to change some things up for the application. I applied the base color and dipped my nail three times instead of two. I also concentrated the top coat on the ends of the nails and made sure to cap off the nail to seal it in. This seemed to make the nails feel stronger through the ends which made me excited for the results!

After the second application, the nails lasted for two weeks with only a few chips. These photos are after two weeks and I am very pleased with the results. There’s minimal chipping, my nails feel very strong and seem to grow very quickly. This is the longest I’ve had my nails in a long time without having fake nails.

REMOVAL

Since this two week period, I removed the nails by soaking them in accetone. All I did was soak a cotton ball with accetone, place it on the nail, and then wrap the nails with tin foil. I then waited about 15 minutes and the dip color came right off.

FINAL THOUGHTS

If you are looking to grow your nails strong and long and want to save money, I highly recommend this product. I am so happy with the results and it is exponentially cheaper than getting dip color at the salon! If you’ve been thinking about picking it up, I say do it.
